Awards & Honors

The KBPS program SportsTicker has been honored by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters with two awards -- The 2011 Radio Sports Announcer of the Year, and Best Radio On-Air Personality or Team in the non-commercial division. The awards were presented at the OAB's annual conference in Bend on September 17th, 2011.

Everyone here at KBPS is extremely proud of hosts Sam Tongue and Sean Philipsen for their efforts!
