Goodnight, Texas - Live interview & performances at KBPS
The band Goodnight, Texas is on tour supporting their new album Signals. Avi and Pat swing by KBPS studios before their concert at Wonder Ballroom and chat with broadcasting students at Benson High School. They do a fantastic live performance of their song "I Can't Stop Leaving Town" for the KBPS audience. Then we move outside the studios to a performance area and our music club teacher Mrs. G joins in during "Jesse Got Trapped In A Coal Mine." So many thanks to Goodnight, Texas for this unforgettable experience for our KBPS students!

Thank you Aminé!
Aminé's "Best Day Ever" Music Festival truly was, for some KBPS students! Some KBPS students met Aminé in person backstage at his concert at Edgefield. Aminé and his team were able to welcome three current seniors and three recent graduates to meet him, do an interview with him for KBPS, and sign their shoes before performing at his music festival. The interview will be broadcast on KBPS soon, stay tuned for dates and times. We are so thankful and grateful to Aminé for all he is doing to uplift our students and community, including his latest work and partnerships with a local Multnomah County Libraries to increase literacy for students. Aminé is KBPS c/o 2012, and has became a huge music artist, recently launched the Benson Tech shoe collaboration with New Balance, and donated $25,000 to KBPS for student scholarships.
